Tenda Router Settings

Most Tenda routers use 192.168.0.1 as the default gateway. Default login is often admin / admin or no password. Check the sticker on the device.

How to Access Tenda Router

  1. Connect to the Tenda WiFi or via Ethernet.
  2. Open a browser and go to http://192.168.0.1.
  3. Enter the default username and password.
  4. Change the admin password when asked.

WiFi Setup

In the Tenda interface: Wireless or Wi-Fi Settings. Set the network name (SSID) and WiFi password. Save and let devices reconnect with the new password.

DNS and WAN Settings

Under WAN or Internet Settings you can set connection type (DHCP/PPPoE/Static) and DNS servers. Use 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 for Google DNS. See DNS Settings.

Reset Tenda Router

Use the reset button (small hole) on the router. Hold for about 10 seconds until the LEDs blink. The router will restore factory settings and default login (often admin/admin). You will need to set up WiFi name, password and admin password again. Full steps: Reset Tenda Router.

MAC Filter and Access Control

To block a specific device, go to WirelessMAC Filter or Access Control. Enable the feature and add the device’s MAC address to the block (deny) list. You can find connected devices and their MAC addresses under DHCP or Connected Devices. See How to Blacklist a WiFi User for details.
